Hes coming home, hes coming home, hes coming, JJ's coming home. Harriers re sign Melligan ahead of vital clash with Carlisle. Britt's still after a striker, what about Stan the Man ?
JJ’S BACK, NOW GET STAN
Yes he’s back, JJ Melligan has returned to Harriers for an initial one month loan. Great news for Harriers who are in need of a boost ahead of the crucial bottom of the table clash with Carlisle United. Good news all round really, apparently JJ is chuffed to be back and the players are equally pleased to see him as well, and of course so is Britt. Last be not least, us fans are delighted as well, so come on JJ lets carry on where you left off from last season.
So a crucial game against our bogey side Carlisle United, who we have failed to beat in the League since joining it. last season saw a 2-1 home defeat in a game ruined by Mr Cowburn, a very poor official. Away last season we scraped a 2-2 draw, a good result really against a team we have only ever beaten once. That was a 2-1 win in the LDV in our 1st season in the league, this came just after they knocked us out of the FA Cup. Of course they went on to play Arsenal, suffice to say we haven’t enjoyed much luck or success against them, lets hope it changes soon.
So a win is critical for Harriers, a defeat could leave us bottom.the next 2 are very important for Britt, who may have had a bit of help this week. Former Kiddermen Phil King has apparently been helping out, maybe he could be the assistant Britt desperately needs. I’m not sure what exactly King’s role is but he was spotted on Central TV’s feature on us. Britt seemed quite upbeat during his TV interview and seemed very pleased to see JJ.
So 3 pts would hopefully set us on our way again after our recent barren run. The arrival of JJ is great but I still think we need another striker. Of course it has eben reported that Britt is still on the lookout for one. Bo and Bish are short on confidence and of course Bish’s loan is about to run out. Big John has tried but I’m not sure whether he is the answer and young Matt Lewis is out on loan at Hinkley. I know who we could get:
STAN COLLYMORE
Why not, rumours say he may go to Stafford Rangers, so why not us ?
NOT FAR TO COME, ADIE SMITH COULD GIVE HIM A LIFT
WE COULD DO A WAGES DEAL BASED ON GATES
HE WOULDN’T HAVE TO LIE ABOUT SUPPORTING US AS A BOY, WE KNOW HE WAS A WOLVES FAN.
AFTER ALL HIS BAD PRESS, HE COULD PUT SOMETHING BACK INTO THE GAME BY HELPING OUT ONE OF THE SMALLEST TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE.
Sorry, just dreaming, to be honest I don’t know whether he would be the answer anyway. Still if I win the lotto tonight, and Britt wants him, I do know one of his mates very well!
