Darlington defeated

Today Harriers headed to the brand new Reynolds Arena for a clash with Darlington, which was the first ever League game at the new 25,000 plus stadium.Kiddy came away with the win.

Today sees the first ever League game at Darlington's brand new Reynolds Arena. Of course many have laughed at the size of Darlington's new home. last season their gates were not much more than ours. However I'm sure they will get a good turnout today as Kiddie try and spoil the party.The ground now holds a safety certificate for around 11,000. Unfortunately for Darlo they play us where they would have prefered a game against Hull or Huddersfield. Not only are those clubs better supported but they are much closer geograhically. If Darlo was closer then I'm sure more Kidder fans(myself included) would have made the effort.

The good team news is that Bo and Bish are available. Bo lloks likey to return after missing the Ipswich game with an Achilles injury whilst Bish will try and displace John Williams. Williams had a good game against Ipswich, well who didnt? Harriers boss Ian Britton is hoping we can spoil the party. I cant remember us being in a simular game, with a new stadium etc. We did beat Wycombe though in 1991 becoming the first team to win at Adams Park. Back to team news and Matt Gadesby is still out but he is back in training and maybe next week for him.

Not sure how we;ll get on but I fancy us for at least a draw. Darlo now have probably the best Stadium in the division, along with Hull but are far away from having a team to match it. So lets hope for a bit of party pooping.
