Manchester United kept the pressure up on Premiership leaders Chelsea with a comprehensive 3-0 win over a poor West Bromwich Albion side. Goals from Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand and Ruud Van Nistelrooy were more than enough for Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

Manchester United continued their Premiership revival with a 3-0 demolition of a hapless West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford. It was the perfect late Christmas present for the Red Army as goals from Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand and Ruud Van Nistelrooy secured an easy three points for the hosts.
