Van Nistelrooy Injures Ribs

Striker Ruud van Nistelrooy will miss Holland's friendly with Italy at the weekend after suffering bruising to his ribs while training in midweek. Ruud van Nistelrooy has reiterated his intentions to stay at Old Trafford despite tempting links to La Liga giants Barcelona and Real


The full extend of the injury has not been confirmed, however the Dutchman could even miss United's next Premiership game against Charlton next Saturday.

Barcelona midfielder Mark van Bommel joins van Nistelrooy on the sidelines with strained ankle ligament while Chelsea's Arjen Robben is also struggling with injury.
