Michael Ballack's agent is unsure whether the midfield-maestro will be leaving at the end of the season but has confirmed the German international will not leave during the January transfer window.

Agent Michael Becker isn't certain if Ballack is willing to commit his future with the German giants amid strong transfer rumours linking him to Old Trafford, Real Madrid and Juventus.

"There is absolutely no chance of Michael leaving in January," emphasised Becker. "I think Michael will either say he is staying, or he will say he is leaving and would like to join a particular club. That would at least allow him to start negotiating [with Bayern] in January.

"I must stress that Michael has spoken to no-one about his future yet and has certainly not spoken to any other club about his plans.

"I still don't believe he has totally decided in his own mind what he wants to do, although he is probably pretty close."

United are reportedly favourites to land Ballack in the summer although his advisers are trying to persuade Ballack to play in La Liga.
