Manchester United striker Louis Saha has reflected on his injury, commenting on his slow progress from a knee problem and his plans to resume his career at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman, who cost £12 million from Fulham,
is scheduled for a return in October after enduring yet another lengthy knee
injury in pre-season.
"We're going slowly. I am only doing cycling and swimming so
far," he said.
"We take time to completely heal. I will take my time. Today, my only ambition is to put aside that last year and a half and resume
my career."
Young Italian striker Giuseppe Rossi has been acting as his replacement over the past few games by filling the attacking void on the bench.
