Former MUFC midfielder Kleberson has blamed Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson for his failure to succeed at Old Trafford. The Brazilian World Cup winner made only 16 Premiership starts in 2 seasons for United before being sold to Turkish outfit Beskitas.

Former Manchester United midfielder Kleberson has slammed Sir Alex Ferguson and has accused the Scotsman of destroying his morale during a unmemorable 2-year stint at Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old was sold by Ferguson to Turkish outfit Beskitas after failing to make a significant impact at the Theatre of Dreams, but it was certainly not an amicable separation.

"They said Diego Forlan was worthless in the Premiership but he has been a big success since. My aim is to do the same, and be a success in Turkey, and to show that I'm no failure." said Kleberson, angered at a lack of opportunities following the flop £6million move from Paranaense.

"Ferguson is a good coach but he never showed any confidence in me after the first few months. He gave more opportunities to other players but not me and that kind of thing destroys the confidence of any player."

Kleberson made only 16 Premiership starts for United and struggled with form and injuries as the British game proved difficult to handle for the World-Cup winning Brazilian.
