Besiktas Enter Kleberson Race

Turkish outfit Besiktas have expressed an interest in Manchester United midfielder Kleberson, who is being eyed by a number of other clubs. Ruud van Nistelrooy has reiterated his intentions to stay at Old Trafford despite tempting links to La Liga giants Barcelona and Real


Corinthians, Benfica, Werder Bremen, Celta Vigo and now Besiktas are involved in a tug of war for the World Cup winner, desperate for first-team action to prove his worth to the Brazilian national team.

Besiktas vice-president Kivanc Oktay is quiet on his transfer targets however, stating: "We're speaking to many players at the same time and then we'll make a choice.

"We want to get the best player we can at the best conditions."

The 26-year-old is currently with fellow Red Devils in their pre-season tour of Asia.
