The advisor of Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs, Harry Swales, has confirmed he and Red Devils Chief Executive David Gill are still in talks over a contract for his client. Giggs has been searching for a new deal for the past few months but is edging closer and closer to inking a new deal, amid transfer speculation. The Wales international skipper has been the subject of a move to an array of European clubs but now looks to end his career where he began. "There was some progress but we still need to sort one or two things out before we get an agreement," confirmed Swales. On the field, Giggs came on as a 75th minute substitute for Darren Fletcher in last night's 1-0 defeat at the expense of Everton following a hamstring problem. |
