Manchester United youngster Kenny Cooper has extended his one-month loan spell with Lancashire neighbours Oldham Athletic until the middle of April. Newly instated Latics boss Ronnie Moore has yet to see Cooper's full credentials and will give him a chance by assessing him over the next 4 weeks. The American forward endured a torrid loan-spell with Portuguese outfit Academica recently and was re-called for not getting a sniff of first-team action, but hopes to vanish those memories with a successful time at Boundary Park. Former boss Brian Talbot then captured the 20-year-old on loan on January 28th, as cover for injury plagued forwards Rodney Jack, Jermaine Johnson and Chris Killen, making his debut in the FA Cup defeat to Bolton Wanderers. Cooper has already managed to bag 3 league goals under his belt. |
