Manchester United midfielder Kleberson and his agent are apparently in Brazil today to negotiate a move to Corinthians after the Red Devils and the Brazilian outfit agreed a transfer fee earlier this week.

The World Cup winner has failed to make an impact during his time at Old Trafford with various injuries hampering any real chances in the first team during his one-and-a-half years in England.

Portuguese side Benfica were reportedly interested in capturing the midfielder's signature, but Corinthians look to have beaten Giovanni Trapattoni's side to the post.

Corinthians official Paulo Angioni admitted that there has been recent contact between the player and the club. "I have information that his agent will be in Sao Paulo today," said the agent.

"But I do not know for sure that the player will join." 

Kleberson has made just 28 appearances in a Red Devils jersey, most of them as a substitute, but has always been positive on his future at United. A move away would certainly re-kindle chances in the national team.
