Brazilian outfit Corinthians have failed to categorically dismiss rumours linking Manchester United's unsettled World Cup winning midfielder Kleberson, who is destined to leave Old Trafford in the near future.

Kleberson could follow fellow midfielder Eric Djemba Djemba, who completed a move to Aston Villa earlier this is week, out of the doors at Old Trafford as Sir Alex Ferguson considers a major shake-up of his side.

Portuguese side Benfica have also expressed interest in injury-plagued Kleberson, who has made just 28 appearances in a Red Devils jersey in over one-and-half years.

Director of football at wealthy Corinthians stated: "I do not discard Kleberson. He is a good name and pleases everybody."

"I cannot say myself, though, if contact has been made with him on the part of Corinthians."

"Transfers of that importance take a certain time and I do not want to stipulate how long (it could take)."

Kleberson is currently in Brazil seeing to an ankle injury.
