Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll has expressed his sheer disappointment for conceding Papa Bouba Diop's thunderbolt strike that denied The Red Devils a vital 3 points against Fulham yesterday.

Roy Carroll has to be the most disappointed at the result, watching it just fly past him. "To concede in the last three or four minutes like that makes it feel more like a defeat than a draw," said the Ulsterman.

He added: "It's really disappointing because we had enough chances to win the game and hit the post twice."

"If just one of those had gone in, it would have been a different story but we ended up trying to keep a clean sheet and we couldn't do it."

"But we are professional players. We have to get on with it and look forward to the next game."
