Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted he'd like to finish the war of words and mind games with Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson following last Sunday's game between the two clubs. The Red Devils emerged 2-0 victors at Old Trafford, but the exciting fixture was marred by off-field comments and actions as well as on-field actions. Post game (and during the game) antics turned into something Sherlock Holmes would have difficulty unraveling. There were questions such as 'Who threw the food?' and 'Did Rooney really dive?' on the lips of everybody in the media. However, Gunners boss Wenger wants to
put an end to it all. "We are finished with it. Our responsibility is to come out here with what we think should be said, and I said what had to be said on Tuesday and since then, we have not made any comment," said Wenger. |
