Manchester United captain Roy Keane has confessed that his recent form has lacked sharpness and has pleadged to the United faithful that they will improve. The midfield hardman has been filling in the large gap in defence recently and has only just returned to his usual midfield position. Hobbs in Trouble

United Skipper Confesses "Poor Form"
Manchester United captain Roy Keane has confessed that his recent form has lacked sharpness and has pleadged to the United faithful that they will defiantly improve (lets hope so, eh?)

The midfield hardman has been filling in the large gap in defence recently and has only just returned to his usual midfield position, in a lethargic manner. 

"My form has been fairly poor." admitted the Irishman.

"It was only my second game in midfield, and hopefully I'll sharpen up on Monday (versus Liverpool) if I'm selected. In pre-season I played centre half but I see myself in midfield. My sharpness hasn't been up to scratch."

He continued: "I thought I was poor for Ireland recently and my performance the other night (versus Lyon) was abysmal. Maybe I was a little better in the second half."

"Sometimes you have got to analyse and my first half performance was nowhere near good enough for Manchester United. It was the same for my team-mates."
