Former Red Devils Arthur Albiston has lavished praise upon Italian prospect Giuseppe Rossi after impressing in the Reserves' 3-1 triumph over local outfit Rochdale recently. Rossi scored an absolutely fantastic wonder-goal during the Pontins Holiday League fixture. Hobbs in Trouble

Albiston Praises Youngster Rossi
Former Red Devils Arthur Albiston has lavished praise upon Italian prospect Giuseppe Rossi after impressing in the Reserves' 3-1 triumph over local outfit Rochdale recently.

Rossi scored an absolutely fantastic wonder-goal during the Pontins Holiday League fixture, spinning and weaving defenders into confusion before calmly finishing.

The 17-year old, a summer recruit from Parma, now has fans licking their lips in excitement and former Old Trafford star Arthur Albiston was quick to praise the Italian.

"He looks an exciting prospect. The goal he scored for the reserves- the defenders didn't know what to do - he teased them in and finished it like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer." he said.

"You expected him to cross and he fired it in off the post. It wasn't a bad strike for his supposedly weaker right foot."

He added: "He is a box of tricks, a real bundle of energy. He doesn't look the tallest player, but he has a low centre of gravity and great control with both feet. When you have that low centre of gravity, you can get away from people quite quickly."
