Nigel Worthington cannot wait to take his newly-promoted side to Old Trafford on Saturday, in a game being shown live on Sky Sports. The game kicks-off a trio of tough games for the Canaries, with the game against the Red Devils being followed by encounters against Newcastle United and Arsenal.

Norwich City boss Nigel Worthington is relishing his side's opening away fixture of the season, with the Canaries back on the top flight road with a bang as they visit Old Trafford. The Red Devils will start the game as hot favourites, but with Sir Alex Ferguson's squad some what depleted at the moment the newly-promoted side won't get many better chances to beat the F.A Cup holders.

The game is the first of an unenviable trio of games for the First Division champions. The game at the Theatre of Dreams is followed by clashes with title chasing Newcastle United and Arsenal. Norwich will be desperate to build on the one point they took from their opening game at Carrow Road against Iain Dowie's Crystal Palace, with three defeats set to leave them firm favourites for the drop.

"This is what you look forward to in The Premiership. We have got a great week coming up with Manchester United, Newcastle and Arsenal," said Worthington.

"These are big games, great games and I am looking forward to them but we have got to go there and show that we can play good football, we can compete with the best and hopefully hold our own and get a good result."

Norwich may well be looking forward to their trip, but the form book is not on their side. United have a 100% Premiership record against Norwich in the Premiership, other than a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in 1993. Worthington would be delighted with the same result on Saturday evening, with the game kicking-off at 5.35pm.
