Manchester United v. Urawa Red Diamonds - Preview
Manchester United take on Japanese outfit Urawa Red Diamonds in their final friendly game of their pre-season preparations.

It is the second game of the Vodafone Tournament after The Red Devils edged PSV Eindhoven 1-0 whilst Urawa suffered a 5-2 lambaste by the hands of Boca Juniors.

Sir Alex Ferguson may field a weak United team considering their Community Shield fixture with Arsenal on Sunday at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

Ricardo may continue in between the sticks after an impressive clean-sheet against Dutch runners-up PSV whilst duo Ruud van Nistelrooy and Louis Saha are likely to play 45-minutes each.

Former Aston Villa defender Alpay is on the books of the Japanese side but managed to let Boca fire five goals past him and his frail defence that United should take advantage of.

Urawa have a famous manager in German Guido Buchwald who commented on his team prior to the tournament: "I have many good players in my squad, many of them are very good young players. Our Brazilian striker Emerson is very fast and has a dangerous shot. He is one of the best strikers here in Japan."

Boca currently lead the league table with 8 points after their 3 points for winning and 5 points for scoring 5 goals with United trailing second with 4 points. Urawa and PSV are in 3rd and 4th position respectively.

Tickets will be available on the gate for the 21:00 start after the turn-up of just 27,479 fans.
