West Ham United have completed the signing of Manchester United winger Luke Chadwick on a free transfer after passing a medical at Upton Park earlier today. Chadwick penned a one-year deal with Alan Pardew's side who look to return to the Premiership after getting relegated 2 season ago. Hobbs in Trouble

Championship outfit West Ham United have completed the signing of Manchester United winger Luke Chadwick on a free transfer after passing a medical at Upton Park earlier today.

Chadwick penned a one-year deal with Alan Pardew's side who look to return to the Premiership after getting relegated 2 season ago.

Pardew knows the 23-year old very well and signed the winger on a loan-deal during his time with Reading.

"I am delighted to have signed a player with great potential," said Pardew

"Luke did well for me when I took him to Reading and I expect him to become an exciting and important part of the squad."

The former England U21 international spent time on loan at Burnley last season.
