United captain Roy Keane lead a reserve side to a victory in Ireland yesterday, beating Cobh Ramblers 2-1 in-front of a 7,000 capacity crowd. Keane started his football career in Cork with Cobh Ramblers but hadn't played there for 13 years prior to yesterday's friendly. Hobbs in Trouble

Keane Leads United to Ramblers Victory
Manchester United captain Roy Keane lead a reserve side to a victory in Ireland yesterday, beating Cobh Ramblers 2-1 in-front of a 7,000 capacity crowd.

Irishman Keane started his football career in Cork with Cobh Ramblers but hadn't played there for 13 years prior to yesterday's friendly.

Young Dane Mads Timm opened the scoring in the first half but Robert Brosnan struck on the 41st minute to make the score 1-1 at half time.

Kenny Cooper fired home a winner in the second half to seal an emotional return to Cork for Keane. 

“I’m happy to be back playing on a pitch I know so well.” said Keane, after the clash.
