Young Italian midfielder Giuseppe Rossi is set to sign for Manchester United from Parma within the next couple of days. An official from Rossi's agents, P&P Sportsmanagement, have confirmed that they are confident the deal will go ahead. An official from Rossi's agents, P&P Sportsmanagement, have confirmed that they are confident the deal will go ahead.

"We haven't reached an agreement yet because there are still a few details to be ironed out, but I'm confident the deal will go ahead," said an official.

The 16-year old will join Gabriel Heinze, Alan Smith and fellow teenager Gerard Pqiue at Old Trafford next season.
