Division One outfit Crewe Alexandra are confident that they will capture Manchester United's young goalkeeper Ben Williams on a full-time basis. The Railwaymen currently have the 21-year-old on loan for another couple of weeks and boss Dario Gradi is keen to sign the 21-year-old. Hobbs in Trouble

Crewe Confident Regarding Williams Deal
Division One outfit Crewe Alexandra are confident that they will capture Manchester United's young goalkeeper Ben Williams on a full-time basis.

The Railwaymen currently have the 21-year-old on loan for another couple of weeks and boss Dario Gradi is keen to sign United's 4th choice 'keeper. 

"We have made Ben the best offer we can and his representatives are in talks with the chairman so we will see how that works out," Gradi  confirmed. 

"We have told him that it is an open-ended offer so it can be for two years, three years or four years. We will offer him whatever suits him best because we want him to come here."

"If he comes here he will start the season as the number one because he finished the season very strongly for us."

Williams has impressed Crewe fans with his efforts in-between the sticks since the start of his loan spell in March after an impromptu signing prior to the Cardiff City fixture at Gresty Road.
