Manchester United's young defender Lee Lawrence has joined Conference side Shrewsbury Town on a one month's loan deal to help Jimmy Quinn's side push for promotion back to the Nationwide Division 3, from where they got relegated last season. Hobbs in Trouble

Manchester United's young defender Lee Lawrence has joined Conference side Shrewsbury Town on a one month's loan deal to help The Shrew's push for promotion to the Nationwide Division 3.

Shrewsbury currently lay in 4th position with 61 points after being relegated last season and manager Jimmy Quinn must see the 19-year old as an ideal loan signing to help the club out.

The Shrews, 15 points off the top spot, will take on London outfit Aldershot town tomorrow but Lawrence is unlikely to be included.

The 19-year old hasn't yet been given a chance in Sir Alex Ferguson's team but a move to Gay Meadow will help the youngster gain vital first-team experience.
