| Manchester United are reportedly
keeping tabs on Scandinavian pair Jan Kristiansen and Fredrik Berglund,
who both play for Danish outfit Esbjerg.
The two youngsters will be closely watched when Sir Alex Ferguson sends out scout Eric Harrison to assess the duo when Esbjerg take on AGF Aarhus at The Esbjerg Idraetspark tomorrow. Kristiansen, 22, is knocking on the Danish national team's door after playing so well in the attacking midfield position for the Danish outfit this season and has attracted interest from all across Europe. Swedish forward Berglund, who's 25th birthday it is tomorrow, has been capped by Sweden and has enjoyed a spell at Dutch outfit Roda JC before transferring to Esbjerg. "Both Fredrik Berglund and Jan
Kristiansen are interesting players. If we would sell Berglund, he would
cost more than ten million Danish Kronor (£900,000)," said the
club's director. |
