Nicky Butt In Positive Frame Of Mind
Manchester United midfielder Nicky Butt is keeping in a positive frame of mind for the rest of the season and is calling anyone who is writing The Red Devils' title hopes this season a 'fool'.

"Anyone who writes us off completely is a fool. We did it last year (beat Arsenal to 1st position) and if we can go up a few gears and start playing like we can, we have proved in the past we are capable of going on a long, winning run."

The England international midfielder has recently been vital for United despite watching most of the season from the substitute bench.

Due to his omission from the starting XI in the earlier stages of the this term he requested to be transferred to a different club to keep his place in Sven-Goran Eriksson's England squad but has forced his way back in and is currently happy with his role at Old Trafford.

Commenting on the big Manchester derby ahead, Butt said: "There is nothing bigger or better than the Manchester derby and we are determined to win."
