Saha joined United during the January transfer window for a fee of £12.5million and seems to be settling well as a Red Devils. He already has three goals to his name, including a debut free-kick against Southampton at Old Trafford, and is tipped to form a formidable strike partnership with Dutch international Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

"Everything has happened for me this season so I might as well dream that I play alongside Thierry for France against England and score a hat-trick. It was a dream to play for United, to play in the Champions League was another one, and it was also a dream to play for France and another dream to score." said Saha, obviously stunned by how is career has moved forward this season.

"It is unbelievable what has happened to me in such a short time and I can't describe how it feels. I've always been like a kid in a sweet shop and now I have got really big sweets. Everything is a bit quicker at United than I was used to but I am getting better physically and ready to fight for a place every weekend.

"There is more pressure here but I like it. It pushes you on and asks questions of you. Playing at United has helped me with France. I was a bit too impressed by everyone when I first joined and it was good to see they were normal, nice people too. They do things differently because they are stronger and more focused."

Despite a Champions League debut, Saha may find the visit to Loftus Road on Saturday the toughest game of his short time at Unites so far. Saha left the Cottagers under less than perfect circumstances following a well-publicised fall-out with Fulham boss Chris Coleman. A frosty reception is certain to await Saha on Saturday, and his former team-mate Luis Boa Morte knows it will be tough for him.

"I hope the fans give him a good reception but it won't be like that. I understand they are upset because he has been our main scorer. He was playing so well and helping us to the next level, to the European spots in the league." said Boa Morte.

"Fans never want their best player to leave. They got angry about the move and the way it happened. They have to realise what it is like when a chance like that comes along."

Saha is third favourite to open the scoring in London, with most bookmakers offering odds of 7/1 for the former Metz striker to break the deadlock against his old club.
