Parma coach Cesare Prandelli has denied that any club, including Manchester United, has made a bid for their exiting prospect Matteo Ferrari. The former Bari and Inter defender, 24, has already won caps for Italy and has been incredibly impressive in this and last year's Serie A championship. Hobbs in Trouble

Ferrari Staying Put
Parma coach Cesare Prandelli has denied that any club, including Manchester United, has made a bid for their exiting prospect Matteo Ferrari.

"It's normal that clubs are interested in a great defender like Ferrari," said Prandelli

"I've spoken with my club though and they've given me certain guarantees. We will end the season with the squad I have now so Ferrari will stay with us."

The former Bari and Inter defender, 24, has already won caps for Italy and has been incredibly impressive in this and last year's Serie A championship.

Parma are being forced  to sell their star players in order to avoid being bankrupt due to the collapse of owners 'Parmalat' and Ferrari along with the likes of Montano, Frey, Junior, Morfeo and Bresciano have to be sold in order to gain cash.

Following Rio Ferdinand's 8-month band and Wes Brown's lack of match practice, Sir Alex may just be tempted in signing this fantastic prospect.
