United have already faced the Villains once this season, with United running out easy 4-0 winners. However, Johnsen hopes that home advantage and the fact it's a Cup tie will contribute to a different result this time around.

"It's always special to come up against old friends but every game coming up is important for us and I have to treat it like any other game," said Johnsen.

"It's a new game and we need to produce the sort of performance that beat Chelsea in the Carling Cup.

"You also need a bit of luck in football. If we get that luck on Sunday, hopefully we can do to Manchester United what we did against Chelsea. But they are a very good team."

Villa will prove a tough test for United, as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to go all the way in the FA Cup for the first time since 1999. David O'Leary's side have picked up some form recently after a disappointing start to the campaign, and with six wins from their last eight games, supporters of the Midlands outfit must be confident of a Cup win over the current league leaders.
