Sir Alex: "Best Yet to Come From United"
Despite Manchester United currently topping the Premiership and going well in the European Cup, Sir Alex Ferguson believes there is better to come from his players in the second-half of the season.

United traditionally reach their peak in the run of matches after Christmas, and Ferguson hopes that improved performances will help the Red Devils reach a greater level of consistency as they aim to emulate the successes of the treble winning season of 1998/1999.

"We can improve on our performances," he said. "Some of them have been good and I think we have had about three excellent performances.

"Parts of games have been good. In the first half against Manchester City we were good but we have been playing good first halves or good second halves.

"I think we have got to get that really good consistency over 90 minutes.

"Hopefully there is a lot more to come. We always prepare to do well in the second half of the season."
