Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is set to offer Manchester United goal ace Ruud van Nistelrooy a contract worth twice his wages he's on now. The Dutch-masterclass will be handed a £90,000-a-week contract for his efforts in the Premiership and Champions League. Match Report

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is set to offer Manchester United goal ace Ruud van Nistelrooy a contract worth twice his wages he's on now.

The Dutch-masterclass will be handed a £90,000-a-week contract for his efforts in the Premiership and Champions League. Equaling the great Dennis Law's European record was the icing on the cake for the Dutch international.

If 27 year-old van Nistelrooy, currently on £40,000-a-week is currently serving a 5 year contract with the Red Devils, were to sign the new contract, would brush away interest from clubs such as Real Madrid.

Sir Alex Ferguson signed him 2 and a half years ago from Dutch giants PSV for £19million. He has so far played 122 games for United and scored a whopping 95 goals for United.
