Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Arch-rivals Manchester United and Liverpool will lock horns this Sunday at Anfield as the two teams battle it out in the race for one thing- The Premiership title.

Both teams are fresh from midweek European matches but United will be the more confident of the two. United beat Glasgow Rangers 3-0 at Old Trafford but Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw in Bucharest.

United beat the Scousers 2-1 in the corresponding fixture last season and it was current goal machine Diego Forlan who won United the match by scoring the two goals.

As for the team news, Sir Alex Ferguson has kept the faith in Forlan and the Uruguayan will partner Ruud van Nistelrooy upfront. Either Ronaldo or Darren Fletcher will play right midfield. Paul Scholes, Wes Brown and Ole Gunner Solskjaer are all obviously ruled out.

Michael Owen is fit for Liverpool but isn't likely to start. Midweek goalscorer Djimi Traore is likely to lose his place to John Arne Riise.

You can get a healthy 6/1 on Forlan scoring 5 in 5 for United and you can get 16/1 for Roy Keane to score his 50th goal for United. United have been placed at 11/8 to take 3 points away from Liverpool.

Man Utd (from): Howard, G Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Fortune, P Neville, Keane, Giggs, O'Shea, van Nistelrooy, Djemba-Djemba, Butt, Carroll, Ronaldo, Bellion, Forlan, Kleberson, Fletcher

The Ozzy refused to joined United in the summer and joined Liverpool for the bargain price of £5 million and has scored 6 goals so far this season.
