Red Rebels end up 13th in Conference North

FC United of Manchester finished the 2015/16 in 13th position in the Conference North, seven points clear of the relegation zone. 

The Red Rebels ended the league campaign with a 2-2 draw against champions Solihull Moors, thanks to a late Tom Greaves brace, watched by an impressive 3,914 fans at Broadhurst Park.

It was a trademark United finish to the game, and season, with Karl Marginson's men now looking forward to a friendly with Detroit City in Michigan on May 28th.

Beyond league action, Cup activity was over for FCUM by November, with defeat against AFC Telford United in the FA Trophy.

Elsewhere, Stalybridge Celtic proved the Rebels' conquerors in the Manchester Senior Cup, whilst Chesterfield's Football League experience told in a FA Cup first round proper tie in Manchester.
