Goalkeeper Victor Valdes is set to move to Standard Liege on loan until the end of the season.
The Spaniard has had a torrid twelve months with the club; making only two senior appearances since moving to Old Trafford from Barcelona in January 2015.
34-year-old Valdes was placed on the transfer list in mid-2015 after refusing to play in a reserve team fixture.
Whilst a proposed transfer to Beşiktaş fell through, it has always been a matter of time until Valdes left the club - with a challenge to Sergio Romero for the number two slot not in the offing.
The temporary, six-month switch to Standard sees Valdes join a club currently ranked seventh in Belgium's top-flight, 18-points behind leaders Gent.
