Warren Joyce's Manchester United Under-21s will look to build on an excellent start to the season on Friday night as they face a tough trip to Anfield.
The second string opened up their league campaign last weekend, comfortably brushing aside Norwich City with a 3-0 win at Leigh Sports Village.
A tougher test, however, can be expected against fierce rivals Liverpool on Friday evening, who also claimed an opening league win, beating Sunderland.
Frontman James Wilson's involvement is in doubt. The player has been training with the first-team, and linked with a senior call, but is also returning to fitness after a recent injury which saw him miss the Canaries game.
The game sees Michael Beale takes charge of Liverpool's Under-21s at Anfield for the first time.
United fans without MUTV can watch the game for free, if you can endure the pro-Liverpool commentary, on LFC TV. You need the basic Sky package or XL package on Virgin, apparently! It's also on BT Sport 2.
