Wilson hat-trick sinks Wolves Under-21s

James Wilson bagged a hat-trick as Manchester United's second-string claimed a 3-0 win at Wolves on Monday evening.

The 18-year-old found the net three times after the half-time break as United's clinical finishing in front of goal proved the difference.

Red Devils stopper Ben Amos made a number of saves after United's opener, but the win ultimately proved comfortable thanks to Wilson's attacking prowess.

The result is a fourth consecutive win for the Under-21s, who sit fifth in Under-21 Premier League.

Warren Joyce's men return to action next Monday against Bolton Wanderers in the quarter-finals of the Lancashire Senior Cup.
