In a game disrupted by the weather conditions, Manchester United booked their place in the League Cup semi-finals with a fine 2-0 win at the Britannia Stadium. Ashley Young and Patrice Evra were on the scoresheet, with David Moyes' men paired against Sunderland in the competition's last four.
