Back on top but a lot to do in Europe...

A mixed couple of days at the Theatre of Dreams, On Thursday night we fell woefully short and let Athletic Club of Bilbao take a deserved victory back to Spain in the much lamented Europa League. Fast forward to Sunday and all is well again with Swansea beating Manchester City and the Red Devils picking up all three points against WBA to go clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League. 

On sign at the ground on Sunday was picked up by the cameras - "It is squeaky bum time City" - and away from Eastlands they do seem to struggle. It is a long way to go but their lead has been overhauled and it is very much game on in the title race.

As far the Europa League (UEFA Cup to this old fan) - I want to win it, but not at the expense of anything else. Thursday's team will be interesting. 

Come on you Reds!

The scousers count trophies like the Europa League as major silverware. Look at the way the celebrated struggling past Cardiff in the carling Cup![:wor kid:]
