United target?

Manchester United have been linked with a move for in-form Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm. Chelsea may also be interested in a swoop for the Dutch international.

Vorm has been on sensational form for the newly-promoted Swans, who edged into the top-half of the table with an impressive 3-2 win over Arsenal on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers' men have lost only 1 of 11 home league games this season, conceding only 6 goals - a whopping 8 fewer than United have leaked at Old Trafford!

Vorm's heroics have received widespread praise from pundits, and have reportedly caught the eye of United and fellow title hopefuls Chelsea.

David De Gea's shaky start to life at United has prompted speculation that the club might be looking to sign a new goalkeeper, though Anders Lindegaard has been increasingly involved in first-team affairs in recent weeks.

Swansea will not wish to part company with their Dutch goalkeeper, who made 41 appearances for FC Utrecht before moving to Wales.

Any bid could involve offering Polish goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak in part-exchange. He has failed to make a single appearance for the club this season and is reportedly anxious for a move away, but United would be unlikely to tempt the Swans.
