7-1 win and a 0-4 defeat in quick succession!

Two games, two different United line ups and two very different results! On Saturday afternoon United turned on the style and rattled seven goals past Blackburn Rovers at Old Trafford; three days later at Upton Park with a strong but much changed team West Ham blow away the Carling Cup holders in the snow by four clear goals.

On Saturday Berbatov, Nani and Rooney ran rings around the Blackburn defence on Tuesday it was West Ham who gave the United back four the run around for much of the game. The Carling Cup has been a wlcome addition to the sideboard in recent years and it is a major trophy when all is said and done - howeverwe are not going to win it for a third year in a row. 

The team travel to Blackpool for a Saturday evening fixture which is live on ESPN followed by the Champions League decider versus Valencia on Tuesday weather of course permitting.
