Manchester United are rumoured to be interested in signing Chilean frontman Alexis Sanchez. Reports suggest that the Red Devils could have competition from arch-rivals Liverpool for the player’s signature with Sanchez carrying a price tag of £15million.
Udinese striker Sanchez is rumoured to be near the top of Sir Alex Ferguson's wish-list as the Red Devils look to add more attacking talent to their squad following the departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.
The 20-year-old is regarded as an excellent prospect for the future and press reports across Europe suggest that United and the Scousers are both interested in the £15million-rated South American.
Nicknamed 'The Wonder Boy', Sanchez kicked off his career at Chilean club Cobreloa and, following successful loan spells with Colo-Colo and River Plate, he headed to Europe and joined Udinese.
Sanchez has hardly been prolific with the Italian club; having bagged three goals from 32 league appearances. However, he can play in a host of roles including attacking-midfield and has already bagged seven goals for his country.
