United draw another Premier League side in Cup!

Pompey @ Home

Manchester United have been handed yet another home draw against yet another Premier League club in the F.A Cup. The magic of the competition will never die – but such draws hardly generate excitement throughout Salford. It’s Portsmouth next at Old Trafford as the Reds look to book themselves another trip to Wembley.

Pompey will visit OT on either the 8th or 9th of March. You can hear the groans from all those stuck in the Automatic Cup Scheme!

The tie of the round looks to be at Oakwell where giant-killers Barnsley entertain big-spending Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Cardiff travel to the winners’ of the Middlesbrough v. Sheffield United replay; whilst Bristol Rovers entertain West Bromwich Albion in an all 'Football League' clash.

United have now faced Premier League opposition in their last 11 F.A Cup draws – five of those have been at home, four away and two on neutral territory.

Kick-off time is dependent on negotiations between the TV companies. All four ties will be broadcast live on the box.
