Three Manchester United players were in action as England drew 1-1 with Brazil at Wembley. John Terry was on target for Steve McClaren's men but it wasn't enough to secure a morale-boosting win as the South Americans equalised in the closing seconds.

David Beckham made his eagerly anticipated England return as Steve McClaren's men drew 1-1 with Brazil at Wembley.

The former Manchester United winger celebrated his return to the international stage as he set-up the opening goal of the game with a neat free-kick that John Terry headed passed Helton.

However, England couldn't hang on for a morale-boosting victory as Ribas Diego headed home a dramatic late equaliser to earn the South Americans a draw in front of 88,745 supporters.

Alan Smith had a quite game up front for England, whilst Wes Brown and Michael Carrick were both introduced as substitutes.
