Recent Form : The less said about Queen's the better, and it may get worse given that Peterhead are now leaders in the group of four chasing the second promotion spot. 'Rovers look too young a side while Dumbarton don't appear to have what it takes which just leaves Montrose as the likely biggest threat. Although the Gable Endies have an exciting forward line, their defence lets them down at times so, albeit almost by default, perhaps Peterhead can just crawl over the finishing line. Tuesday night's impressive 3-0 win at Elgin will have really boosted their confidence so Queen's will really be up against it again except this time it will be the diminutive figure of Iain Stewart (rather than the portly bulk of Roddy Grant) that provides the main scoring threat.

Likely Outcome : Peterhead will once again be strong favourites to win this game but Queen's have competed well against them in the three previous encounters this season and only succumbed by a single goal in each of the two lost games before winning 2-0 in January. However, what a difference the last couple of months have made and, with so much at stick for the home side, it's hard to see them slipping up. As always, there will be no shortage of fight from the Glorious Hoops, but effort alone is not enough these days and a 3-1 defeat looks the most likely outcome.
