This Tuesday Ivano Bonetti can either turn up at Dens or we can have a no manager? What does this week ahead have in story? Also inside News on Possible Signings and Contracts being Re-Newed for Dundee fans Favourites. This Tuesday will be eagerly awaited by me, you and most Dundee fans. We will find out if all the speculation is true or if it's just a bit of news for the press to use while there was no other storys to fill the shelves.

Dundee resume the pre-season training the week on Tuesday minus a few faces who where regular's last season but now are left with no club to play for.

But they out of contract players seem to have been forgotten about for the past few weeks and the most talked about person has been Ivano Bonetti and a will he, wont he come back story.

Ivano is currently in Italy with his pregnant wife who is Due in August and is meant to be wanting to stay beside her. Instead of finishing his last year of his 3 year contract and aiming to be the third team in Scotland like he has said since he come to dens.

If Ivano does not turn up this Tuesday it seems almost certainly that Dundee will bring in a new member of staff in the Paraguayan Manager Francisco Ocampo the Agent of two of our Great Players Fabian Caballero and Juan Sara and also Manager of Sol De America.

Ocampo has mentioned on more than one occasion he has great interest in Dundee and is wanting to invest in our club to see that we do well. Something that the Marrs may find very hard to turn there backs on.

Commercial Director Jim Connor and Chairman Jimmy Marr have spent the last few days in Paraguay with Ocampo but this is meant to be regarding Business and the club still Deny that Ocampo will be the manager of the club.

Peter Marr had the following to say.

"As far as I am concerned, I am expecting him to be here on Tuesday, Jim Connor and my brother are in Paraguay speaking to Ocampo about two things: possible investment and co-operation about bringing players to Scotland. Anything else that has been reported is not true."

"He says he could be a future manager but we have a manager, and unless that changes in the foreseeable future we are not looking for a replacement," says Marr. "We have a manager and we are sticking with him."

Ocampo has lined up Dundee a few Paraguayan internationalists and is hoping to bring them to dens to help Dundee.

There has also been strong rumours that Ivano has cleared his desk and has emptied his apartment before he returned to Italy at the end of the last season but this has not been proved and the club keep insisting that Ivano will be back.

Dundee admit that Bonetti does have some great contacts which he has proved by Bringing Claudio Caniggia to dens and signing players of quality of Zura Khizanvilli, Georgi Nemsdaze, Temuri Ketsbia, Beto Carranza and Julian Speroni. This had hoped the club could then sell these big named players to make a profit to help make some money for the club.

Dundee do admit that they can survive by selling one of there big players every season and keep the books balanced. Dundee sold Caniggia to Rangers for an Undisclosed fee, and sold Robert Douglas to Celtic for a fee worth £1,500,000. But Dundee are hoping to show there critics this season that they can play Scottish players and told Bonetti to get rid of most of his out of Contract players and bring in Youth Players.

Dundee have said that Ivano says he can work under this situation and he is happy to help the young players improve there careers.

Dundee are also happy to announce the signing of Nocha Nova tomorrow and will be happy to announce signing Julian Speroni on a 3 year contract tieing him to the club until 2005.

Peter Marr had one more surprising comment left to say "I am not anticipating a change, but you can never tell in football," he said. "Look at what happened to David O’Leary. We would never have expected that."
