Bonetti issues warning to Wilkie

Ivano has warned the Lee Wilkie he most continue to display his 100 per cent effort if he is wanting to keep his place in the Dundee Team after the teams 2-0 win over Livingston last night.

Wilkie was handed a first team place last night for the first time after his training ground bust up with Ivano at the start of the season had left him out of favour from the team.

Wilkie and Ivano have now made up again after 9 months of uncertainty.  Ivano is still insisting that the player continues to show a professional attitude if he is to keep his place.

Ivano said "Every Single player did well and nothing suprised me.  What he (Lee) has to understand is that playing football is a privlege and if he understands that then there is no problem"

"I can sell everyone and I can buy everyone.  He had to show me and every single person in the club that we can believe in him."

"He has to work hard in training and in the way he plays and, if he does that there is no problem."

Dundee claimed all 3 points from a fiery match against Livingston in which Livingston had 2 players red carded and Livingstons manager Jim Leishman being sent to the stand.

Ivano clamed the two man advantage made winning the game more difficult for his own side, despite an impressive Juan Sara double which clinched Dundee the three points.

Ivano Added "It is always difficult when another team loses a player because they then try to do more than normal.

"We had chances in the last five minutes to finish well but I don't think we did that."
