Petra Ryce

This is a true story about a girl called Petra Ryce who has attended Dundee games since she was a very young girl and a very big Gavin Rae fan.  She suffers from Cerebral Palsy which affects her walking.  When Petra was 16 she had been giving a row from her mum she got told she wasn’t getting to the football.  Petra told her mum she would go by herself something her mum didn’t believe her.  At Lunch time Petra told her mum she was going to her friend’s house and went on her tri-cycle and cycled all the way to Dens Park something very hard for somebody suffering from Cerebral Palsy.  The distance from her home to dens is 2 miles there then 2 miles back.  When Petra got back her mum had been worried and when she got told her she had been to the football her mum was left gob smacked and she said what she had done was bad so for her punishment she got the wheel’s took off her bike.  From what I know Petra Ryce has not cycled to Dens again but she has never been told she isn’t allowed to a game since.
