Timbers tie Virginia Beach 2-2.

The first goal of the match was from the spot as Byron Alvarez was taken down in the box at the 6 minute mark. Byron scored on the kick. The rest of the first half saw both teams with some good looks with the Timbers keeper Josh Saunders making a keen save. It did not take the Timbers long in the second half to find the net again as Shawn Saunders placed a perfect ball from the back as Aaran Lines beat the keeper to the ball to place it in the net. The lead did not hold up as Virginia Beach netted two of their own.
