Alan Gordons 2 goals are not enough to win the match for the Timbers. Atlanta puts the game away in the 67th minute of play. Jake Sagare get the assist in the Timbers 3rd goal
All things do come to an end as the Timbers win streek stops at 6 as Atlanta wins 4-3.
Alan Gordon scored two of Portlands goals and Dan Antoniuk nets his first goal of the season.
The Timbers fresh from a overtime win in Charleston could not keep pace with the well rested Atlanta club. Byron Alvarez sat this game out due to a red card he received in Charelston. The Timbers are do to sign Andrew Gregor one of the best midfeild players in the A-League. The international transfer window seem to put the signing on hold after Gregor was released from the Vancouver White Caps early this season. The Timbers are off the the best start ever in the A-League.
