Art invited the Timbers Army out to his brew house that is called the Raccoon Lodge for a tour and to taste his new Bitter End Ale
Smaller group was there. Mostly the usual suspects with the Brewmaster and Owner (Art?) joining us. The owner was kind enough to keep the beer pouring as we tried out the new Bitter End Bitter (nothing beats FREE beer).
Tasty stuff if I do say so myself. It is light enough to be good on a hot ass July day but has enough kick to keep things interesting. After awhile complimentary scarfes were presented to both the BrewMaster and the owner. They wore them all night!
We discussed our insert that we are plannning for the game day program and various folks gave their suggestions for changes.
The Brewmaster then took us on a tour of the facilities and we had a good time sampling the beer right out of the main holding tanks. I, for one, actually learned alot from the guy and he was cool enough to answer the simple questions.
The fries, tater tots and fish and chips were all big hits on the menu.
I think that was about it. It was universally declared that we are all ready as hell for this season to start. A 6 month off season is just way to long.
