Nottingham Forest new-boy is ecstatic at joining the Reds. The Nottingham-born attacking midfielder has stated that he has always wanted to play for this club and that, at the end of the day a move to The City Ground was too good to turn down.
Commons said: "I had five or six great years at Stoke and it was very hard to leave but the contract negotiations had been going on for about 18 months and perhaps Stoke didn't make enough effort to keep me. Kris Commons' enthusiasm seems promising, and with the player proving to be such a favourite during his time with Stoke City- surely he should prove to be more than an adequate replacement for Gareth Williams. |
